Tucked away in a shop in rural Rio Rancho, NM, Otto Guitars builds bespoke, hand crafted electric guitars, basses and pickups. While guitar building may be relatively new to me I've been working in technology for over 30 years and have been a maker longer than that.

 I approach guitar making as a way to express my engineering side while still embracing the instrument as art. I have my own style that is still evolving but I gravitate toward lovely woods and you'll find Italian Mazzucchelli Acetate on every build. It might be binding, a pickguard, headplace, or something new, but often a cool piece of acetate inspires the artistic direction of the guitar.
